Adam and Robbie Fried have lived in Teaneck for 21 years and are the proud parents of four daughters, Rachel (‘14), Elianna (‘15), Julia (‘18) and Maya (‘22), all Yavneh graduates. Adam is a Senior Account Manager and Vice President of Private Wealth Management with Ayco / Goldman Sachs, where he has worked with high-net-worth clients for 27 years. Robbie is the Chief of Staff at Amit Children where she has worked for the past three years, and prior to that served as the Membership Director of the Kaplan JCC on the Palisades where she worked for 17 years.
Both Robbie and Adam have served in a variety of roles during their time as Yavneh parents. Robbie served as chair of the recruitment committee, as a member of the Dinner Committee, and has provided guidance and leadership in the areas of board training, development and recruitment, and has also served as class parent. Adam has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2007, and has served in numerous leadership roles, including as Chair of the Finance Committee, Treasurer, and as a member of the Executive, Employment, Endowment, and Strategic Planning committees among others. Adam most recently served as the President of the Board of Directors from 2018-2022.
Beyond Yavneh, the Frieds are involved in many other organizations, including Midreshet Amit / Beit Hayeled in Israel, and other educational initiatives in the community. Adam has also been active in the Teaneck sports leagues, coaching his girls in both softball and soccer. In her spare time Robbie loves to play Mahjong and has taught Mahjong many times at Yavneh golf outings and YPAA events. Adam, Robbie and their girls love to travel and enjoy hiking together with their dog Louie.
