Lenny Snow
Lenny Snow was raised in Florida by his mom Mary Ann and older sister Kim since losing his father at a very young age. In the year 1999, Lenny moved to NJ and started working at Yavneh. He has been an essential part of our team for 24 years, and considers Yavneh a second home. He really enjoys coming in to work every day and helping all the teachers, staff, and students. As Lenny says; He has been blessed to work with an incredible group of people for all these years, especially his Team. His wife and friends think he’s Jewish because he goes home and tells them all about Judaism and its culture.
Outside of the Yavneh walls, Lenny’s favorite thing in life is the time spent with his amazing wife Tina and their dog Madison. They love going to the beach, concerts, out to dinner and going for nice rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Lenny loves coming in and seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces and listening to the stories they share with him.
Wilson Medina
Wilson Medina has been at Yavneh since 2001 after working for a decade at the Marriott Hotel at 1 World Financial. He came to us by a stroke of connections and good friends and family (a version of Jewish Geography). At the time, Yavneh was looking for someone to fill the open position. Wilson’s cousin Roberto who worked at Yavneh at the time suggested Wilson to Lenny and the rest is history. Wilson quickly became an essential part of the family in more ways that we can imagine. He even had his own family join our staff shortly before COVID as one of our star kitchen staff members. You can find Greey daily serving lunch with a smile to our students (while secretly smiling at Wilson). If you ever pull up to school in the morning and hear the sounds of roosters, don’t be scared, they are coming from Wilson’s house. He makes sure everyone is up and on time to work and has the fastest commute. Wilson lives right next to Yavneh with his wife, Greey, 3 daughters, 1 rooster and 2 chickens. Fun fact – he’s also a lefty!
Wilson happily took in the roosters when the chicks outgrew being pets in our Ganon classroom!
