Donna Domb

Donna has been teaching for over 33 years.   She started out in the public school system as a remedial reading and math teacher for grades K-6.  Upon having her first child, she decided to leave her teaching career to be a stay-at-home mother. She ended up having three children (Aaron, Lauren and Lindsay): her greatest accomplishments. Aaron is a forensic accountant, Lauren works in finance and Lindsay is a speech therapist. Once the kids got a little older, she decided to return to her teaching career and landed a job at the Yeshiva of North Jersey as a first grade teacher. She taught there for four years and then moved on to Yavneh where she has been working for 23 wonderful years.

Donna loves teaching at Yavneh; it’s like a second home to her.  She is an early bird: goes to the gym at 5 o’clock in the morning and arrives at school at about 7:15.

Teaching in the primary grades is Donna’s passion, as she truly loves children. Donna works as a learning center teacher in the morning and as a first grade teacher in the afternoon. She feels it is truly a joy to come to school and looks forward to seeing the children and their beautiful smiles each and every day.

Donna’s thankful for the wonderful parents, children, faculty, and supportive administration. She loves being part of the Yavneh community!
